Saturday, December 19th, 2009

The Membership Cancelled Page can serve many functions, including:

  • When a member cancels, this is the page they will see informing and confirming their cancelation.
  • This page can be a “sorry to see you go” page and encourage the user to reconsider.
  • This page can highlight the benefits of your membership site and maybe offer the user a different product of membership level that is more suitable to their needs.

The Wrong Membership Page

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

The Wrong Membership Page is similar to the Non-Members Page, however it is the page that Members will see, instead of non-members, when they try to access areas and/or content of your site that is reserved for other membership levels.  There are several ways that this page can be used:

  • It can be a generic page warning members that they are trying to access content that is not available to them.
  • It can provide information about the other membership levels of your site.
  • It can actually sell and encourage members to upgrade to other membership levels within your site.

The Non-Members Page

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

The Non-Members Page can serve many purposes for your WishList Membership site.

  • It can be a very generic page that just informs people that they are trying to access a part of your site that is restricted to members only.
  • It can inform non-members about what is included in your membership site.
  • It can be a sales page that promotes and encourages non-members to join your site.
